How to be a good sponsor?
Companies often talk about their referral programs but fail to mention that you only get paid once the new employee passes the probation period. That`s why you become a sponsor. It is up to you have a prep chat before the interview and a catch up call/meeting after the new person is hired to make sure they are comfortable and fit the team. This serves as a confidence and performance boost and can lead to a reward, as per the referral program conditions.
