CCleaner is the world’s most popular optimization tool, with over 2.5 billion downloads across 195 countries. While a subsidiary of Avast PLC, the CCleaner family of products is run by a dedicated and rapidly growing team, based in London and Prague.

We are looking for a versatile and technically skilled marketer to build and deliver our in-product messaging campaigns using Avast’s In-Product Messaging (IPM) platform, as well as various other pieces of content.

You will be producing integral parts of CCleaner desktop’s product experience, executing digital sales campaigns, optimizing existing messaging, and driving projects to improve efficiency and automation. You’ll report to the head of Monetization, and work closely with the CCleaner product developers and the Prague-based IPM team.

We are primarily looking for a marketer with some technical background - formal or informal. If you like to build basic websites or apps in your spare time, but mostly think of yourself as a marketer, you probably have what it takes!

Responsibilities

  • Turn designs into in-app content and messages, by coding them in our in-house messaging platform using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Work with a mostly in-house team to build, test and optimize messaging campaigns across several applications
  • Drive projects to improve our messaging and targeting capability, to help us get the right message in front of the right audience at the right time.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Maintain web-based content regularly
  • Collaborate with other team members and partners
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues to deliver regular and ad hoc campaigns

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of and experience using JavaScript, including ES6 and key principles of maintainable code
  • Proficient understanding of HTML markup and CSS styling
  • 2+ years experience in any digital marketing role (Email, performance marketing, CRO, SEO, etc.) and/or any junior front end development role.
  • Basic understanding of coding for IE9 compatibility
  • Good command of asynchronous request handling
  • Willingness to pick up technical skills if needed to solve a problem
  • Active knowledge of English
